SOCKO'S STORY

Made from waste

MADE TO LAST

  • Made from waste

Our recycled socks are made from garment cutting waste cotton, such as t-shirts offcuts, which is colour sorted and spun with polyester from recycled plastic bottles to create an innovative, high quality yarn. This is knit with ECONYL® regenerated nylon, made from fishing nets and other nylon waste for added durability.

  • Made in the UK

The cotton-polyester and ECONYL® regenerated nylon are sent to our UK factory where we use traditional sock production methods to knit a sock that is made to last. We’re very proud of the history and skills of our British craftspeople who have supported us since day one in our vision to create a 100% recycled sock.

  • Closing the loop

Every pair of our socks includes a needle and thread, as well as darning instructions to encourage repairing or reinforcing instead of throwing away. We want to make sure that each sock lasts as long as it can.
